Mental Safety
Everyone has the right to enter the Blockfest festival area and trust that no one will touch them without permission or harass them verbally. Any kind of harassment, or any other aggressive behavior, both mental and physical, discrimination, or bullying is not allowed in the Blockfest festival area.
Blockfest is for all to enjoy. It aims to be a safer space, a space to enjoy life, a space that unites people regardless of their age, gender, cultural background, skin color, religion, and physical or mental limitations. Let’s take care of each other✌🏼
HAPPEE-AREA
Near the Street Stage in the festival area, there is a HAPPEE zone where you can take a breather when your body and mind signal the need for a break from the bustling festival activities. The area features a bar selling non-alcoholic drinks, restrooms, and plenty of seating.
If you encounter harassment, inappropriate behavior, or feel anxious or troubled, you can turn to the mental safety support staff in the HAPPEE zone. Support staff is wearing light blue vests with the text “Miten menee” written on the back of the vests. Read more about how the mental safety support staff assist visitors at Blockfest in the section “Miten menee” support staff.
