Festival area

The festival area consists of the Ratina Stadium in the heart of Tampere and the scenic Ratinanniemi park. The festival area is mostly asphalt or other flat surfaces, and there are three stages, the largest of which is in the stadium. As Blockfest is for adults only, you may freely move around the festival area with a drink in hand. 

There are several recycling points on the site, and we ask visitors to sort mixed, bio, and plastic waste into the designated bins. 

With all Blockfest tickets, you receive a wristband that allows you to leave and re-enter the festival area. 

Please note! The festival area has CCTV in operation, and videographers and photographers record and shoot photos for marketing purposes. 

PAYMENT METHODS

All common debit and credit cards and their contactless payment options, and mobile payment options (e.g. Apple Pay and Google Pay) can be used for all purchases within the festival area. All Blockfest vendors accept card payments. Please note, cash is not accepted. 

FOOD COURT

Blockfest Food Court offers different dining options to cater various tastes. All food vendors offer at least one vegetarian or vegan dish. Tip of the day! The stands in the back curve of the stadium, next to the Food Court, are open for you to enjoy. We acknowledge our impact to the environment and consciously work towards sustainability. We strive to continuously take big and smaller steps towards our goal of a sustainable festival and ensure both our partners and visitors share the same goal. All cutlery and dishes used at Blockfest are biodegradable. 

EXCLUSIVE AREA (Exclusive ticket holders only)

The cozy and elevated Rockstar Exclusive Area at Blockfest is positioned with a prime view directly next to the main stage. The unique ambiance of the area, coupled with its exceptional stadium location, elevates the festival experience to a level rarely seen in Finland’s festival scene. Easy entry and access to private bars and restroom facilities gives you more time to enjoy the most important things when being at a festival. CHARGING POINTS

There are several phone charging stations in the festival area. Check the map for the exact locations of the charging stations⚡️

BOTTLE DEPOSIT POINTS

A deposit will be added to the price of beverages sold in the area. Bottles, cans, and buckets can be returned both to the deposit points marked on the area map and to the bars within the area. The deposit amount will be refunded either with your next purchase or directly to your bank account when you present your payment card. The refund will appear in your account within 2–10 business days.

A €1 deposit will be added to water bottles, €5 to buckets, and €2 to all other deposit-bearing items.

This deposit system ensures the proper reuse of drinking containers, a cleaner festival area, and efficient waste sorting, giving new life to discarded materials. 🫶

WATER POINTS

The festival area has separate water points where you can fill up your bottle. Water points are marked in the area map 💧 You are allowed to bring on empty, max. 0,5 l, see-through bottle to the area (no glass). 

COAT CHECK

The festival coat checks are located at Sorin Square and Laukontori.

There is a separate coat check for those who have purchased Exclusive or Flex ticket, located at the EXCLUSIVE & FLEX entrance.
