The UK’s most successful hip-hop collective, D-Block Europe, is coming to Helsinki! Seen for the first time in Finland at Blockfest just a year ago, the rap group made an impression on the festival audience. Now, less than a year later, they’re back to delight the Finnish crowd once again. Following the release of their new album, “Rolling Stone,” in January, the duo will be performing at Helsinki Cultural Hall on April 22nd!

D-Block Europe is a hip-hop duo hailing from West London, consisting of childhood friends Adam Nathaniel “Young Adz” Williams and Ricky Earl “Dirtbike LB” Banton. The group was formed in 2014 when the legendary hip-hop artist Jadakiss recruited the talented Young Adz as the European representative for his American label, D-Block. The group’s early journey involved Young Adz and rapper Aerosync, with Dirtbike LB joining later after the original collaboration ended.

In 2017, D-Block Europe released breakthrough hits like “Trap House” and “Large Amount.” A turning point in their career came in 2019 with the release of their debut solo mixtape, “Home Alone,” featuring nineteen tracks including the hit “Kitchen Kings.” From that moment on, D-Block Europe embarked on an unstoppable journey towards sold-out arenas. Their rapid rise to stardom is evidenced by numerous collaborations with artists such as Lil Baby, Central Cee, Ed Sheeran, Offset, and Kodak Black.

The new album, “Rolling Stone,” just became the group’s first release to top the UK Official Albums Chart, marking their eighth appearance in the UK Official Singles Chart top ten. Additionally, their unique trap sound has earned them over 10 gold and 6 platinum singles, 6 gold mixtapes, and over 5 billion global streams. They’ve also had several international mega-hits, including “Prada” which reached number two on the charts alongside Raye and Casso. The talents from West London continue to demonstrate that their ascent knows no bounds, as D-Block Europe’s journey towards new records continues.
